Reed Cagle

Reed Cagle grew up in Clarksville, Texas, where he was born in 1962 and raised until he was 21 years old. Mr. Cagle and his wife, Donna, have been married for almost 30 years. When they moved back to Plano Texas in 2018, their kid was still living in Colorado Springs. Reed Cagle has been active in the energy business for 35 years and has a wide range of experience.

At Kinlaw Oil Corporation, Reed Cagle started his career in 1986. In 1996, he moved to Dallas, Texas, to work on the start-up of a tiny independent energy company. As the CEO and President of Heartland Energy, Inc. (HEI), Reed Cagle was responsible for the company's success in the 1990s and early 2000s. Drilling and servicing businesses, geophysicists and other experts in the energy sector were all brought in to help him with the project. Reed Cagle started engaged in the drilling service side of the sector in 2006, funding and developing a 2000 horsepower drilling rig capable of drilling 20,000 feet deep.

Mining in the United States and South America became a part of Mr. Cagle's career in 2011. In Oregon, he purchased a mining concession that yielded 89,000 ounces of gold. To far he has been responsible for financing and running a copper/gold processing facility in Copiapo, Chile. He developed a technique that removes and neutralizes harmful materials from liquids while still allowing valuable metals to be recovered. Copiapo is now using this technology, which has the potential to be employed in the mining industry all over the globe.

He started working with numerous mid-sized independent oil businesses after returning to Texas, using his years of knowledge to simplify operations and lead his clients to lower risk horizontal prospects in Colorado and Texas. Additionally, he works with a big commercial landscaping firm in East and Central Texas, which he consults with on a regular basis.

Reed likes to spend his leisure time outside, doing things like fishing, hunting, cycling, and so on.

He and his kid were playing golf.
